About Strategic Turnaround Fund (“STF”)
Strategic Turnaround Fund invests in US based public turnarounds, specifically, late-stage microcaps (<$500 million). The fund is unique in that the three partners all have extensive operating/consulting backgrounds. They use an analytical tool for screening and valuation called HOLT where one of their managers was a founding member. Other members have run large private equity firms and turnaround management consulting firms.
They invest in microcaps because they believe it represents an overlooked area of the market – many of their holdings have limited or zero analyst coverage.
