Andrew Carlson has over 25 years of experience with advanced analytics, data driven product development, consulting, and equity analysis. He currently runs a team inside PwC’s Data & Analytics practice called Analytic Apps that builds analytical software solutions (data models + analytical models + insight visualization + workflow) for consultants and clients to solve complex business problems and drive operational impact.

He has a background in Accounting, Finance, and Strategic Consulting from his time at Arthur Andersen and Diamond Technology Partners. His analytics and product experience began in 2003 with his time at Credit Suisse using the HOLT analytical toolset. Since then, he has moved beyond corporate performance and valuation to work on customer analytics, supply chain analytics, asset optimization, and operational performance analytics for multiple industries using a range of analytical techniques and approaches.

He has been an entrepreneur, worked on turn-arounds, delivered for over a decade as a consultant to large multinational corporations, and has been a top performer for a large stable business in one of their operating units. He has been part of many high performance teams, delivered as a sole contributor, led small teams to deliver impact at clients, and now has P&L responsibility to build advanced, differentiated analytical assets with a team of 100+ people for PwC.

Carlson graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in Marketing and from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with an MBA in Finance and International Business.
